Joan De Briwere

Joan was born in 1190.¹ Joan's father was Lord of Horsley William de Briwere II and her mother was Beatrix de Vaux. Her paternal grandparents were Henry de Briwere and Joan de Vernon Redfers; her maternal grandparents were Hubert de Vaux and Grace of Cumberland. She had four sisters named Isabel, Margaret, Grace and Alice. She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 43 in 1233.²
