Francis De Berkeley 
Francis was born in 1559 in Bruton, Somerset, England. Francis' father was Sir Maurice de Berkeley and his mother was Catherine Blount. His paternal grandparents were Richard de Berkeley and Elizabeth Coningsby. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Sir Henry, Edward, Maurice, Robert, John, Gertrude, Elizabeth, Margaret, Frances and Anne. He was the youngest of the eleven children.-
