MARY ANN DENNISON 
MARY ANN was born in April 1849 in Paducka, McCracken Co., KY.1 MARY ANN's father was James A. Dennison and her mother was Cynthia Anderson. Her paternal grandparents were William Dennison and Jennie Jane Barnes. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Skillet Head, Reason, Newton, James A, Nancy Jane, Delila Alwilda, Suellen F, Mariah Jackson, Salima A and Sequana. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 54 on April 5th, 1903 in Famous, Pope Co., AR. She was buried on April 6th, 1903 in New Hope Cemetery, Pope Co., AR.2 2 General Notes

Obit for Mary Ann Orr
The Russelville, Pope Co., AR newspaper carried the following: April 16, 1903
Mrs. M.A. Orr, widow of the late Barney Orr and sister of Mrs Owen Williams of this city, died at her home near Famous Sunday morning, April 5th. Mrs Orr had been in bad health for more than a year and her death at this time was not altogether unexpected. She was about fifty-three years of age and respected in the community and by those who knew her as a most estimable lady. Her husband preceded her some four month since. Funeral services were conducted the following day by the Rev. Grubbs, after which interment took place at New Hope Cemetery. Seven children, two of whom are married, survive her.
