Elizabeth de was born in 1355 in Tattershall, Horncastle, Lincolnshire, England. Elizabeth de's father was Ralph VI 1st Baron de Cromwell and her mother was Maud Bernacke. He [John de Clifton] m. Elizabeth, daughter (whose issue became, in 1497, coheir) of Ralph Cromwell, Lord Cromwell, by Maud, daughter (whose issue became heir) of John Bernak, of Tattershall, co.
