Velma Vernice Cothran 
Velma Vernice was born on May 9th, 1905 in Shawnee, Pottawatomie Co, OK. Velma Vernice's father was Lester Lonzo Cothran and her mother was Nora Ellen Russell. Her maternal grandparents were George Washington Russell Jr and Statia Elizabeth Plumlee. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Lawrence Lester, Floyd Francis, Marie Wilma, Lillie E. and Muriel Erma. She died at the age of 90 on August 26th, 1995 in Pecos, San Miguel Co, NM. She was buried on August 29th, 1995 in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Santa Fe, Santa Fe Co, NM.General Notes
