Gene William Cary 
Gene William was born on April 22nd, 1904 in Carroll Co, TN and his baptism took place in Census 1920.1 Gene William's father was Granville Martin Cary and his mother was Earnest Ora Dodd. His paternal grandparents were William W. Cary and Sarah Martha Georgia Ann Johnson. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Ollie A., Vallie R., Eddie Graper, Ethel Leona, Ettie, Nona Maria, Ila M. and Lessie B.. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother named James Alexander. He died at the age of 19 on May 9th, 1923. He was buried in May 1923 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll Co, TN.1 1 General Notes
