Judith Carter 
Judith was born on July 6th, 1735 in Christ Church Parish, Lancaster County, Virginia.1 Judith's father was Thomas Carter Sr. and her mother was Sarah Haynie. Her paternal grandparents were Edward Carter and Elizabeth Thornton; her maternal grandparents were Ormsby Haynie and <Unknown>. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named John, George, Thomas, Edward, Rawleigh, William, James, Mary, Lucy, Millicent, Sarah and Alcy. She was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children.-
