Joan Carew

Joan was born in 1502 in Haccomb, Devonshire, England. Joan's father was John Carew and her mother was Katherine La Zouche. Her paternal grandparents were Nicholas Carew and Margaret de Dinham. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Francis, Thomas, Elizabeth, Henry and Jane. She was the third youngest of the seven children.
