Peter COURTENAY 
Peter was born about 1507.1 Peter's father was William COURTENAY and his mother was Margaret EDGCOMBE. His paternal grandparents were William COURTENAY and Cecily CHENEY. He had four brothers named George, Henry, Nicholas and Anthony. He was the second oldest of the five children. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Philip, John, James, Thomas, Gertrude, Katherine and Elizabeth. He died on May 29th, 1552. He was buried on May 29th, 1552 in Chudleigh, Devon.1 2 General Notes
