Edward COURTENAY 
Edward was born in 1653. Edward's father was William COURTENAY and his mother was Margaret WALLER. His paternal grandparents were Francis COURTENAY and Elizabeth SEYMOUR. He had eight brothers and eight sisters, named William, Francis, George, James, Richard, George, Henry, William, Lucy, Elizabeth, Isabell, Ann, Margaret, Jane, Mary and Dorothy. He was the fourth oldest of the seventeen children. He died in Drowned In The Thames.1 General Notes
