Edward Browning (Edmund Browning)

Edward was born about 1704 in Essex County, Virginia.¹ Edward's father was Francis Browning and his mother was Rachel Merritt. His paternal grandparents were John Browning and Elizabeth Demarest. He had six brothers and a sister, named Francis, John, James, Thomas, William, Nicholas and Anne. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
