Thomas Bloyd

Thomas was born in 1784 in Rockingham County, North Carolina.¹   Thomas' father was John (The Old Patriarch) Bloyd Sr. and his mother was Mary Riggins.  His paternal grandparents were John Bloyd and <Unknown>. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Levi, John, Elijah, Patsy, Leah, Sarah, Rhoda and Elizabeth.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.
