John Bloyd Jr.

John was born in 1783.¹   John's father was John (The Old Patriarch) Bloyd Sr. and his mother was Mary Riggins.  His paternal grandparents were John Bloyd and <Unknown>. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Levi, Thomas, Elijah, Patsy, Leah, Sarah, Rhoda and Elizabeth.  He was the second oldest of the nine children.
