Emmett Blassingame 
Emmett was born on March 1st, 1892 in Eldorado, Union Co, AR and his baptism took place in Children Fact. Emmett's father was William Earl Blassingame and his mother was Laura Rebecca Goforth. His maternal grandparents were John Franklin Goforth and Sarah Ann Collins. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Oliver, Reuben Earl, Roy, Velma Estell, Jetty Lou, Etta Sha, Lillie Mae and Bertha Moss. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 43 on September 9th, 1935 in Colorado City, Mitchell Co, TX. He was buried on September 10th, 1935 in Colorado Cemetery, Colorado City, Mitchell Co, TX.General Notes
