Roxanne Bateman 
Roxanne was born in November 1848 in VA and her baptism took place in Census 1900. Roxanne's father was George Bateman and her mother was Mary Rebecca Grant. Her maternal grandparents were Archibald Grant and Lydia Roberts. She had two brothers and two sisters, named William, Thomas F., Almeda and Lydia. She was the oldest of the five children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Milton Grant and Ruth Jemima. She died at the age of 52 in 1900.1 General Notes
