Effie W Barneycastle 
Effie W was born in April 1896 in North Carolina.1 Effie W's father was Thomas Franklin Barneycastle and her mother was Isabell Foster. Her maternal grandparents were James Foster and Mary Baxley. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John P, John F, Willis Grady, Charles H, Sallie A and Effie N. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 73 on August 20th, 1969 in Mocksville, Davie, North Carolina.-
