James Banastre

James was born in 1260 in Newton, Makersfield, Lancashire, England.¹ James' father was Robert Banastre and his mother was Alice Woodcock. His paternal grandparents were Robert de Banastre and Clemence Orreby; his maternal grandparents were Gilbert Woodcock and <Unknown>. He had a brother and a sister, named Thomas and Clemence. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 32 in 1292.¹
