Comte Baldwin V (VIII) 
Baldwin was born in 1150.1 Baldwin's father was Comte Baudouin le Batisseur de Hainault IV and his mother was Adelheid de Namur. His paternal grandparents were Count Baudouin de Hainault III and Jolande von Wassenberg. He had three sisters named Laurette, Agnes and Yolande. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 44 in 1194.1 General Notes
