Harriet Ann was born on March 16th, 1834. Harriet Ann's father was Elijah BROWNING and her mother was Harriet M. CLEVELAND. Her paternal grandparents were Toliver (Toliver) Browning and Mary BROWNING. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Riley Henry, Oliver M., Wilson Grigsby, William Toliver, Perry Elliot, Caroline and Sally A.. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She had two half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Henry W., James A., Lucinda L., Polly A., Elizabeth M., Margaret L., Mattie Breckenridge and Matilda Francis.General Notes
