Maria Allen 
Maria was born on May 7th, 1857.1 Maria's father was Isaac Milton Allen and her mother was Nancy Katherine Dye. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Allen and Nancy Harris; her maternal grandparents were Fauntleroy R. Dye and Jiney Durham. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named William, James, George, John, Douglas, Joseph, Bluford, Alice, Sally and Jane.-
