Leander 'Lee' A. was born on October 14th, 1900 in LaRue County, Ky. Leander 'Lee' A.'s father was Elijah B. 'Bee' Allen and his mother was Mary Jane Underwood. His maternal grandparents were George W. Underwood and Julia A. Hazelwood. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Orville K., William Curtis, Roxie Ermine, Lucinda, Nellie Mae and Cassie Truman. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named Chris Uriah 'Bud'. He died at the age of 79 on October 27th, 1979 in Jefferson County, Ky.-
