Mary Jane Underwood 
Mary Jane was born on December 23rd, 1881 in LaRue County, Ky. Mary Jane's father was George W. Underwood and her mother was Julia A. Hazelwood. Her paternal grandparents were Joshua Underwood and Mary Carlisle. She had five brothers and three sisters, named S. Tilden, J. O. Cleveland, Jessie Davis, George T., John G., Margaret E., Ida F. and Lizzie Ann. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 75 on April 21st, 1957 in Louisville, Ky. She was buried in Otter Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, LaRue County, KY.-
