Effie Adair 
Effie was born in March 1888 in White Co, TN and her baptism took place in Census 1930. Effie's father was James W. 'Jim' Adair and her mother was Martha L. Simmons. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas M. Adair and Martha Simmons; her maternal grandparents were Andrew Jackson 'Jack' Simmons and Canzantia A. 'Canzada' Stipe. She had a brother and two sisters, named Foster Lee, Bessie Lee and Lou. She was the oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 42 in 1930 in Chattanooga, Hamilton Co, TN.General Notes
