Wilson Overbey CSA 
Wilson was born on October 4th, 1838 in Tennessee. Wilson's father was Daniel Overbey Jr and his mother was Sarah Frances Parker. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Overbey and Emily Tyler; his maternal grandparents were Elisha Parker and Rebecca Turman. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Garrett Turman, Alexander, James Knox Polk, Cave Johnson, William H., Emily and Mary. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died in Williamson Co., Tennessee. He was buried in Overbey Cemetery, Sleepy Hollow Road, (Williamson Co.), Tennessee.1 General Notes
Served in Army- Pvt. 2nd Lt.-H Co.,24 TN Infantry. Captured at FortDonelson on 16 Feb 1862 and imprisoned at Johnson's Island, OH.Exchanged at Vicksburg,MS on 20 SEP 1862.
