Mary was born on January 7th, 1846. Mary's father was John Mackey and her mother was Mary J. Knox. Her maternal grandparents were Samuel , Jr. Knox and Mary Montgomery. She was an only child. She died after 1912 in Menlo, (Chatooga Co.) Georgia.-
