Jane Jefferson 
Jane was born on June 27th, 1740 in Fine Creek, Virginia.1 Jane's father was Colonel Peter Jefferson and her mother was Jane Rodgers Randolph. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Jefferson II and Mary Field; her maternal grandparents were Captain Isham Randolph of Dungeness and Jane Rodgers. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Peter Field, Unnamed, Randolph, Mary, Elizabeth, Martha, Lucy and Anna Scott. She was the oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 25 on October 1st, 1765.1 General Notes
