Elizabeth Jefferson 
Elizabeth was born on November 4th, 1744 in Shadwell, (Goochland Co.), Virginia.1 Elizabeth's father was Colonel Peter Jefferson and her mother was Jane Rodgers Randolph. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Jefferson II and Mary Field; her maternal grandparents were Captain Isham Randolph of Dungeness and Jane Rodgers. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Peter Field, Unnamed, Randolph, Jane, Mary, Martha, Lucy and Anna Scott. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 29 on February 24th, 1774 in Shadwell, (Albermarle Co.), Virginia. She was buried on March 7th, 1774.1 1 Death Notes
She was found dead on Thursday, February 24, 1774 after she hadwandered away from the house.

Elizabeth was mentally retarded. She remained unmarried.
