Florinda Hepler 
Florinda was born on December 30th, 1890 in Smithton, Pennsylvania.1 Florinda's father was John Frick Hepler and her mother was Phoebe Ellen Reed. Her paternal grandparents were William G. Hepler and Florinda Frick; her maternal grandparents were Josiah Reed and Elizabeth Cotton. She had a brother and two sisters, named Charles Frick, Margaret Isadore and Elizabeth Phoebe. She was the oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 77 on May 2nd, 1968 in California, Pennsylvania.2 Death Notes
She was buried in the Phillipsburg Cemetery, near her home.
General Notes
Florinda was a redhead. She was called "Ma" by relatives, "Flora" byher friends and neighbors, and was remembered well for her homemadebread, preserves, snow pudding and many other homemade delights.
