Donald Eugene was born on February 24th, 1928. Donald Eugene's father was Arthur Wendell Hepler and his mother was Anna Mae Ballentine. His paternal grandparents were George Cunningham Hepler and Martha Jane Morrow; his maternal grandparents were John Ballentine and Sarah Campbell. He had a sister named Evelyn Irene. He was the younger of the two children.-
