Arthur Wendell was born on October 24th, 1893 in Smithton, Pennsylvania. Arthur Wendell's father was George Cunningham Hepler and his mother was Martha Jane Morrow. His paternal grandparents were Henry Stauffer Hepler and Mary Rhodes. He had a brother and a sister, named Orrie Addison and Dica Elda. He was the youngest of the three children.General Notes
