Virginia Gartrell 
Virginia was born on June 25th, 1866 in Ashland, (Greenup Co.) Kentucky.1 Virginia's father was Henry Clay Gartrell and her mother was Eliza Jane Pogue. Her maternal grandparents were John Hopkins Pogue and Sarah Ann Moore. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Richard Moore, John Hopkins, Henry Clay, Ethelbert Hopkins, Anne Maria and Viola. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She died in Long Beach, California.1 -
