John Filby

John was born about 1842 in New Jersey.  John's father was William Filbe and his mother was Catherine Speck. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Samuel, William, Robert, Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Matilda and Maria.  He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
