Billy Best 
Billy's father was Adam Best and his mother was Elizabeth LaFollette. His paternal grandparents were Elijah Best and Kitty Best; his maternal grandparents were Isaac LaFollette and Crowder Susannah. He had a brother and a sister, named George and (Unknown).General Notes
Billy worked for the L & N Railroad in Louisville, and was the victimof a tragic accident that left him a double amputee. He recovered,however, and finished his career with L & N as a flagger. He waslater poisoned.
