Samuel Overton Beasley 
Samuel Overton was born on January 31st, 1864 in Williamson Co., Tennessee. Samuel Overton's father was James Alexander Beasley and his mother was Amanda Jane Adams. His paternal grandparents were Zachariah Beasley and Nancy Adams. He had four brothers and five sisters, named James Elbridge, William Franklin, Morris Ewing, Jesse Thomas, Nancy Carroll, Juan America, Frances Elizabeth, Amanda Jane and Mary Serene. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 82 on September 1st, 1946. He was buried in Campground Cemetery, Obion Co., Tennessee.-
