Nancy Carroll was born on August 1st, 1848 in Hillsboro, (Williamson Co.), Tennessee. Nancy Carroll's father was James Alexander Beasley and her mother was Amanda Jane Adams. Her paternal grandparents were Zachariah Beasley and Nancy Adams. She had five brothers and four sisters, named James Elbridge, William Franklin, Morris Ewing, Samuel Overton, Jesse Thomas, Juan America, Frances Elizabeth, Amanda Jane and Mary Serene. She was the oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 1 on January 22nd, 1850 in Williamson Co., Tennessee. She was buried in Leipers Fork Cemetery, Hillsboro, (Williamson Co.), Tennessee.-
