Mary Ellen Beasley 
Mary Ellen was born on May 22nd, 1848 in Humphreys Co., Tennessee. Mary Ellen's father was Thomas Beasley and her mother was Tabitha Dixon Allen. Her paternal grandparents were Barnet Beasley and Susannah Baugh. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Joseph C., William J., John B., Pricilla W., Martha Jane, Elizabeth H., Ann T., Mary S., Margaret Susan and Sam Ella. She was the second youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 69 on May 16th, 1918. She was buried in Baptist Cemetery, Theta, Tennessee.-
