Elizabeth H. was born on April 4th, 1833 in Humphreys Co., Tennessee. Elizabeth H.'s father was Thomas Beasley and her mother was Tabitha Dixon Allen. Her paternal grandparents were Barnet Beasley and Susannah Baugh. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Joseph C., William J., John B., Pricilla W., Martha Jane, Ann T., Mary S., Margaret Susan, Mary Ellen and Sam Ella. She was the third oldest of the eleven children.-
