James Alexander Beasley 
James Alexander was born on March 1st, 1861 in Tennessee. James Alexander's father was Little Berry Beasley and his mother was Margaretta Etta Pugh. His paternal grandparents were John Pitts Beasley Jr and Lucy Ellis. He had five brothers and a sister, named William Wiley, Joel Gooch, George Hicks, Samuel Moore, Robert Truman and Prudence Etta. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named John Pitts. He died before 1900. He was buried in Perry Co., Tennessee.-
