George Hicks Beasley 
George Hicks was born on January 2nd, 1859 in Williamson Co., Tennessee. George Hicks' father was Little Berry Beasley and his mother was Margaretta Etta Pugh. His paternal grandparents were John Pitts Beasley Jr and Lucy Ellis. He had five brothers and a sister, named William Wiley, Joel Gooch, James Alexander, Samuel Moore, Robert Truman and Prudence Etta. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named John Pitts. He died at the age of 73 on May 12th, 1932 in Perry Co., Tennessee. He was buried in Lyles Cemetery, Lyles, Tennessee.-
