William Andrew Allen 
William Andrew was born on February 28th, 1856 in Mill Creek, (Hickman Co.) Tennessee. William Andrew's father was William Thomas Allen and his mother was Mary Paralee Beasley. His maternal grandparents were John Pitts Beasley and Mary Bates. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named John Henry, Little Berry James, Narcissa Elizabeth, Sarah Francis, Susan Ann, Clary T., Catherine Palestine, Rosie M., Idella J. and Lewithy M.. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.-
