George A. Burras
North Fairfield - Funeral services for George A. Burras, Sr., 63, who died unexpectedly Thursday at his home on the New State Road, will be at 2 pm, Sunday at the Medthodist Church with the Rev. James E. Magaw and the Rev P.J. Garcia officiating. Mr. Burras was strcken with a heart attack while cutting wood at his home. He was a lifelong resident of this vicinity and following his retirement from farming had been employed by Chapin and Chapen, Inc., in various capacities. Surviving are his widow, Bessie; daughter, Mrs. Earl LaRonde; son, George W., both of this community; four grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Bertha Baker, of here; Mrs. Ella Dillon, Mansfield; brothers, Clarence, Norwalk, and Leon of Bellevue; several nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the village cemetery. The body is at the Keiser Mortuary.
