Moses Clark and Edith Wade Clark were married in a civil ceremony is St. Marks and then in the C.I.C. - both located in Melbourne. They divorced about 1908, 1909 or 1910 in Michigan.

Moses and Edith Wade Clark came to the U.S. aboard the Princess Irene
(from Australia nd possibly going through the Suez Canal then stopping in Italy arriving in New York March 23, 1905. The Christian Israelite Church paid the family's way.

They traveled on the Princess Irene with a large number of the Christian Israelite church members with their destination "Religious Colony in Benton Harbor, Michigan" (House of David). They took a train from New York to Benton Harbor. All those coming from Austraila could read and write. Moses and Edith later left the colony after deciding it was a cult.

Shortly after arriving in Benton Harbor, Moses purchased a farm, but the family evidently lived at the House of David compound.

The House of David invented night baseball and were very good players who traveled around the U.S. During games in Benton Harbor, they would play baseball, dance and

Moses applied for U.S. citizenship January 27, 1927 but died before completing it. All his children became U.S. citizens.

Moses was a carpenter, wood turner and furniture manufacturer in Australia. He built many houses in the Detroit, Michigan area - some with his son Frank Clark.

He died May 9, 1937 on a street in Detroit with no identification on him. His last words were "Norman." "Alaska." (reference to son Norman in Detroit and son Frank in Alaska). It was almost a month before he was identified. He wanted to give his body to science for research, but that didn't happen. He was identified and buried June 3, 1937. He is buried in Detroit, Michigan.
