‌Benjamin and Catherine were married in a religious ceremony.¹   They had three sons and six daughters, named Christian D. L., Hosea Lewis, Jacob H., Lany, Lena Charlotte, Mary Ellender, Sydney Anne, Edna and Harriet Carolyn.
