Elisabeth was born on June 3rd, 1675 in Bensheim, Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany.1   Elisabeth's father was Joannis Philipp Ziegler and her mother was Anna Maria. She had three sisters named Dorothea Margaret, Apollonia and Sabina.1
