Dorothea Margaret was born on August 19th, 1671 in Bensheim, Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany.1   Dorothea Margaret's father was Joannis Philipp Ziegler and her mother was Anna Maria. She had three sisters named Elisabeth, Apollonia and Sabina.1
