John Yant 
John was born on September 7th, 1776.1 John's father was Phillip Yant and his mother was Mary Magdalena Rehrig. His paternal grandparents were Melchoir Yant and Eva Catherine; his maternal grandfather was John Rehrig. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Abraham, Henry, Daniel, Phillip, Frederick, Catherine, Elizabeth and Mary Ann.1 -
