Orrin Allen was born on May 13th, 1858 in Kent Co, Michigan.1   Orrin Allen's father was Henry Clarke Wylie and his mother was Mary L Avery. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Henry Huntington, George Percival, William Delancy, Edward Irving, Charles Abbott, Charlotte Amelia and Mary Eliza.  He was the youngest of the eight children.  He died about 1868 in Kent Co, Michigan.1
