Mary Eliza was born on December 25th, 1855.1   Mary Eliza's father was Henry Clarke Wylie and her mother was Mary L Avery. She had six brothers and a sister, named Henry Huntington, George Percival, William Delancy, Edward Irving, Charles Abbott, Orrin Allen and Charlotte Amelia.  She was the second youngest of the eight children.1
