Leila Wood

Leila was born on January 26th, 1879 in Sullivan, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania.¹ Leila's father was Solomon Lemuel Wood and her mother was Amanda Doty. Her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Doty and Jerusha Wright. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Frank L., Welland, Norton, Ernest, Mary Gates, Elizabeth, Grace, Lydia and Katherine. She was the second youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 80 on July 13th, 1959 in Oakes, Dickey Co., North Dakota.¹
