Abiah was born in 1646 in Weymouth Ma.1 Abiah's father was John Whitman and his mother was Ruth Unknown. His paternal grandfather was Zachariah Whitman. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Zechariah, John, Sarah, Mary, Hannah, Elizabeth and Judith. He died in Abington.1 -
